The Food Industry Council (FIC) advocates on behalf of Florida’s diverse grocery industry and serves as the voice in Tallahassee for all of Florida’s grocers. Our mission is to protect your business and ensure Florida’s food industry can continue to grow and thrive.

The Food Industry Council (FIC) is a division of the Florida Retail Federation that represents Florida’s $45 billion grocery industry. Members of FIC include grocers, wholesalers, suppliers, distributors and convenience stores, ranging from independent, small businesses to national corporations.

The grocery industry is an integral part of neighborhoods across Florida. In times of celebration or emergency, grocers continuously work to meet the demand and provide fresh produce and necessary goods. We will share your voice in Tallahassee on regulatory issues so you can focus on what matters most for your business.

FIC is comprised of legal and government professionals that understand the complexities of the grocery industry. The team brings more than 22 years of law experience and public service to the Council so FIC members will receive the assistance they need to navigate the complexities of state regulatory agencies.
