In appreciation of Florida’s outstanding law enforcement community, the Florida Retail Federation (FRF) is proud to host the 51st Annual Law Enforcement Officer of the Year (LEOY) Awards Program. This year’s program will also include the presentation of the second annual Retail Partner of the Year Award.

FRF established the LEOY award in 1974 to honor exceptional law enforcement professionals across the state. For more than five decades, the award has recognized officers for their tireless dedication and critical partnership with retailers in the fight against organized retail crime. To date, 50 officers have been named Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, with hundreds more honored through nominations and special recognition.

In 2024, FRF introduced the Retail Partner of the Year Award to celebrate excellence in the retail loss prevention industry. This award recognizes a professional who demonstrates outstanding leadership and collaboration with store teams, law enforcement, and the broader retail community to keep employees, customers, and stores safe.

The 2025 award recipients and runners-up will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Tuesday evening, October 28, 2025, at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.
