In appreciation and support of Florida’s outstanding law enforcement community, the Florida Retail Federation (FRF) is pleased to host our 50th Annual Law Enforcement Officer of the Year awards program. This year, for the time, FRF will also name a Retail Partner of the Year. 

FRF created the LEOY award in 1974 to support and encourage outstanding law enforcement work throughout the state and to recognize the tireless dedication of Florida’s law enforcement professionals and their partnership in the fight against organized retail crime. The annual award has been presented to 49 individuals who have embodied the epitome of excellence in law enforcement. In addition, hundreds of outstanding officers have been honored through nominations and other special recognition.

The Retail Partner of the Year award was created in 2024 to celebrate excellence in the retail loss prevention industry and to recognize an outstanding professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership in working with store teams, law enforcement, and the entire retail community to ensure the safety and security of our team members, customers, and stores.
